Food Review: Logans Roadhouse

Let me put it this way...

When we were leaving the parking lot, I felt like some giant bearded dude just came up and punched in the face with flavor and awesome service and then just stared at me for a minute.

Logans Roadhouse is similar to many "roadhouse" style places, you know the ones where they give you a bucket of peanuts and you can throw the shells on the ground. This place isn't messing around. If you are a mans man, then you should be eating here.

Honestly, and not stretching any of the truth, within 10 minutes of sitting at our table, not only did we have our sodas, but we already had the dinner rolls, and appetizer that was ordered! They were no there to lolly gag around things, they know you go there to eat, so they feed you. The rolls there are probably the best free bread that you can get. Homemade yeast rolls with butter on them rock your world. As for the food, always good, but I may have found their hidden gem. Porkies. Chipotle BBQ Pork with cole slaw and a pickle on those rolls I just mentioned.

This place is no joke. They do not waste time with some waiter who just wants to crack jokes and be annoying. The waiter we had, knew I was hungry, he saw it in my eyes. First thing he did was get our sodas, then the appetizer came along with salads and the rolls. All within 10 minutes. maybe 5 minutes after that, our dinners were there. That is what I like. Most people don't like their food flying at them, but I'm fat, and was hungry, so get that food moving along. Their steak and shrimp is amazing. A return trip, is a must, and if you have a Logans Roadhouse near you, check it out. Their big special going on is pretty awesome. $13.99 gets you two full meals on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

We are only deep into Feb, but I already declare this the best ass kicking of 2010. Mainly because I freakin LOVE to see old dudes beat the shit out of young shit talking wannabes. The TV Fantastic, is Fantastic.

Back in the early days of web shows, there was one called Roommates, which starred Dian Bachar and Sam Maccarone. Most people may know Dian Bachar from BASEketball, Orgazmo, Cannibal The Musical, South Park, TV The Movie, and quite a few more indie comedies. Well, Roommates kinda came along and went, now old episodes of it can be found here and there, mostly on youtube. It is some of the funniest stuff you could possibly find, that is if you are into a bit of dark humor. Check out this episode, their debut episode, called Guns.



Well, after many years, Roommates has now returned on their all new site, The TV Fantastic. Where they will have other web shows along with Roommates. If you get a laugh at dark comedy and insane things, give it a watch. They have the all new episode of Roommates up with more to come.

I actually had the chance to get Sam and Dian to cameo in a comedy I made back in 2004, and they're really good dudes, and even showed me a never before seen episode of Roommates, which I believe to this day has yet to still hit the internet. All I can say is, it involved the likes of Christian Slater, and a jungle in their apartment.

A Big Fat Told Ya So! Tila Tequila Miscarriage On The Way!

So, a while ago, I wrote this little blog, when Tila announced she was having a baby, I knew there was no such thing and bet that she would somehow suffer a "miscarriage" eventually for her fake baby... well guess what?! Tila Tequila claims she is now having serious problems with her unborn child. Sharp pains is a list of miscarriage symptoms according to the hospital she goes to....

Yeaaahhhhhh.......

Well anyways, she is saying she is going to KILL HERSELF if she does have a miscarriage. So now she is going to fake a suicide? Good grief. So when do you all think this miscarriage is gonna happen? I call in the next couple days. Go fake baby!!!

Captain Phil Harris from Deadliest Catch dies.

This you are a fan of Deadliest Catch, then this news sure will make you.......crabby! ZING A ROOOO!

Seriously though, this is some lame news, Phil Harris was my favorite of all the captains on that show. I've been watching that show for a long long time. Anyways, Discovery has been posting a blog on him since he first suffered a stroke back in January. So I will be lazy and just copy and paste it from there.

January 30, 2010: Phil Harris suffered a stroke while in port off-loading from the F/V Cornelia Marie. He has been transported to a medical facility and is receiving the best care possible. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and we will make more information available as we know it.

February 1, 2010: Josh and Jake Harris thank everyone for their heartfelt thought and prayers. The Deadliest Catch community has always been more like family than just fans, and Discovery Channel joins the Harris boys in thanking everyone for their wishes of support. Captain Phil is resting comfortably and is in the care of excellent doctors and nurses. We will update everyone on his progress as best we can.

February 3, 2010: No one ever said Captain Phil Harris wasn't tough. Today, dad showed some good signs of improvement, squeezing our hands and even summoning his trademark Captain's bluntness by telling the doctors and nurses, "Don't f*ck up." We are encouraged but still very cautious. It is a long road ahead, but its made more bearable and comforting knowing your thoughts and prayers are with us. We are strong because of you -- our fans. Thanks and we will continue to update you as best we can going forward.

UPDATE: February 9, 2010: It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our dad - Captain Phil Harris. Dad has always been a fighter and continued to be until the end. For us and the crew, he was someone who never backed down. We will remember and celebrate that strength. Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and prayers. - Jake and Josh Harris

Tila Tequila Will Lose Her "Baby".

So, Tila Tequila is pretty much the most worthless person on the planet. I would rather go hang out with Paris Hilton over Tila Tequila. Anyways, Tila is apparently pregnant now. Wasn't she just upset over her lesbian lover dying the other day? I dunno, anyways, TMZ and all those other sites are believing this, but not Jerks.

This is another desperate cry to extend those precious 15 minutes even further. She is not pregnant. At all. And I bet you anything within the next couple, eh, I will give it MONTHS. Was gonna say weeks, but I will say months. She will somehow suffer a miscarriage. Yup, just wait and see.
